Joe Biden is the one to beat among those likely to vote in Missouri’s Democratic primary next year — at least for now.
In a poll of 400 likely primary voters conducted by St. Louis-based Show Me Victories, the former vice president took 34 percent of the mock vote, 12 percentage points higher than the runner-up, Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts.
The poll, which came with a 5 percent margin of error, saw Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont take third place with 14 percent, South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg take 10 percent and Sen. Kamala Harris of California round out the top five with 9 percent.
