Patrick Lynn


At SMV, Patrick is a lead message and policy strategist for candidate and ballot campaigns.

He has spent more than 25 years working in and with government, political campaigns, and public policy efforts. Patrick is a former policy and legislative advisor to Missouri’s last three Democratic governors. In addition to roles in multiple campaigns since 1994, he served as the policy director for the 2000 Holden for Governor campaign and as the campaign manager for the 2008 Zweifel for State Treasurer campaign.

Patrick grew up in Harry Truman’s hometown of Independence, Missouri. Prior to law school, he interned at Truman’s presidential library, where he processed the papers of Robert Hannegan. The St. Louis political leader who helped Truman secure the vice-presidential nomination in 1944.
